Ok, here's the deal...
I have most of SSZip.Dll working at this point, though I'm having some minor
problems breaking the full path into a relative path.
As I mentioned in a previous post, there will be several SFX stubs to choose
from. As of now I have a SFX stub for automatic unpacking of a zipfile. There
is no user interface for this SFX stub, although you can specify the name of
a program to run once the zipfile has been extracted as well as specifying
whatever command line parameters for the program that is to be run. Even
with this small of a stub, as it is the smallest, it is still at 46 Kb. Now I have
used UPX to pack the stub, which now makes this stub around 27 Kb. As I
stated previously, the more I add to the SFX stub for customizations etc.,
the larger the stub will be.
Instead of using for example, ZIP ADD,<zipfile>,<Folder to Add>, I have
written a function specifically for adding a folder and it's files to a zipfile.
There is a limitation, it does not include any sub-folders at this time, as the
function is not recursive. I will work some more on this one.
For now, the basic functionality of SSZip.Dll is complete. BETA TESTERS BEWARE!!! I'll be contacting you later. _________________ Bill Weckel
