|
|
I think that vdshtml.dll from Mr. Tommy Sools, is one of the bests extensions for vds, i cant think of any task that this dll is unable to help in.
But it cant be added multiple times on a dialog, so, please, i know all is possible, is there a way to make it able to add again on the same window ?, probably via another dll, encapsulating the first instance.
I tried changing the control class (tvdshtml) or the tpaint, but the dll keep in someway the pointer to the html control.
Mr. Tommy Sool, you have made this dll, can you give a hint on how to make this possible, you know how your dll is handled in memory
plase excuse my english
Thanks, your friend

Unfortunately, I think he lost the source codes to that dll a long time ago. The component he used was a freeware component which would not allow more than one instance of the browser on a dialog. I purchased the full component which would allow more instances of the browser, but no one has been able to get it working.

Only chance is trying the VDSRUN.DLL of the VDSDLL 3 to load multiple instances of the DLL
(with different filenames for each instance, such as "VDSHTML.DLL" and "VDSHTML2.DLL")
although I'm not sure it would work even then.
BTW, though complicated, MindPower's Gadget DLL may be able to do so too. |

Thanks Tommy, Thanks Garret.
I will give a try to the vdsrun dll.
Garret, where i can find info on this component ?, is a delphi component ?. if so i have to learn Delphi, hummmm, but looking at some delphi source code, it looks kinda easy, with a very english like language. Currently im working with MS C++, is posible to implement dlls with this compiler ?, i will take a look
Mindpower, please tell me if you think your gadget is able to acomplish this ( using vdshtml multiple instances on the same DC ).
If vdsdll.dll or gadget.dll can do this, be assured you will have a new registered customer ( a very happy one ).
I want to take a minute to say congrats to the people of this comunity, how you support it and help others is really impressive.

Wow, I knew I must have forgot to reply to something somewhere!
ACE, the component can be found at: http://www.pbear.com/
Also, just an update to this subject. I've had at least 4 people now take
a shot at making a full version of this with the purchased version of this
component and no luck. To make things worse, I paid $129 USD for this
darn thing and now have lost it. The site has since upgraded two versions
since I purchased, so I can't download the version I had again. So I'm
out of this game for an independent html browser component. I can't
afford to take another shot at this one.
Best regards,
