|
|
Hmm... I'm looking for a way to do a screen print of only the topmost window, not the entire screen. Ideally, I'd have a tray icon that, when clicked, sends an image of the topmost window to the default printer.
I can handle the tray icon coding easily enough, but what commands (if any) will handle the image printing? Is there a DLL to accomplish this?
As always, I'm dazed and confused. |

| Thanks, but I don't see it. Are you referring to VDSCAP? If so, how do I use it to send the captured image to the default printer? |

Use this to capture a part of the screen:
dll capture,capture,@path(%0)screenshot.bmp,20,0,250,200
To get the positions of the window, use @winpos()... To print it, use shell print,@path(%0)screenshot.bmp |

I'll give that a try and post the results. Thanks! |

VDSCAP.DLL is basically the same thing as the VDSDLL version. You
might want to use VDSCAP since it is smaller to distribute instead of
unnecessarily distributing the entire VDSDLL. _________________ FreezingFire

And if you're doing it manually you can also do:
ALT+Print Screen on your keyboard. _________________ FreezingFire

Well I'll let you decide that for yourself. Personally I feel that this is about
Visual DialogScript but any alternatives won't hurt. _________________ FreezingFire
