I guess you missed the OPTION ERRORTRAP section within the helpfile? Take a look at it, you can do handle events with that directive.

Print out the help file. Put it in a 3 ring binder. Take a few days to
read through it.

Garrett, do you know of an easy way to print the whole help file or do you
have to go through each topic and print it? Confused

I also think it's sometimes easier to have a printed reference manual
so you can read it at length. Smile

Why print it? Personally I think it's alot easier and organized to use the help file, there is a built in search function that can point you in the right direction. I don't see how shuffling though paper will make it easier in finding what you're looking for then looking in a software manual which provides search functions and is on the same screen where you are working on.

I was thinking more of VDS 5 since there will be more stuff to learn. And
I don't think that shuffling through papers is more organized. LOL, I've
got enough papers on my desk. Laughing

I just think that it might be easier to read the whole help file on paper. Smile
I do understand your point, Prakash. Smile

Smile I don't like printers thus the bias for using computer manuals vs. print material. I've adapted to computer screen reading rather then print and like it much better. Wasn't trying to attack you tim Smile just voicing my opinion on how computer reading seems alot easier then print where there is no highlighting, easy searching and confusing organization.
