i was thinking if a person made there own packer using vds would that make things harder cause it would be a custom packer???? just a thought

I mean i know there are other file compressers/packer that people can used BUT if a person makes there own with vds ( if it can be done) won't this be better then using like public ones? to help keep your exe safe...

I don't think that a packer can be made at least with VDS 4 or below,
but you also have to keep in mind that a packer will not make your
executable safe. Although it will add a step for a cracker to get past,
it will not stop a determined cracker. If a cracker really wants your
software, he will get it, no matter of what tools you use.

You could always hire someone to create a packer DLL for you which can
be used with VDS.

Keep in mind they will cost some money though. But since you buy it you
