hello all

I need info on automated submission programs that let you submit your program to freeware sites, shareware sites. my question is what program out there works good? what sites do you guys submit to? I see some sites charge you, thoese sites i don't want to submit to.

IMHO your best bet is to submit manually, most of those automated programs never succeed in half of the sumbissions they make. Just create a PAD file for your software and submit the pad file. Most larger/medium sized shareware/freeware sites accept PAD file submissions now.

It's a simple XML file that contains all of your products information, description, size, name, date, etc etc. This allows you to easily push the file to other sites without having to fill out massive forms. Also this allows those sites to easily poll your pad file (assuming you put your pad file on your webserver) to check for updates and automatically update your program listing on their website.
