Hi Guys,

I was hoping to figure out the correct syntax for conducting a custom search of the VDSWorld Forums via a custom link. (That is, I want to know how to post a link which once clicked upon, takes the user to the correct results page for a certain search.)

The following example link (which looks up the text "html") works, but for some reason, it only shows the results by posts.

That is, whether I use "show_results=topics" or "show_results=posts", it always shows the results by posts. (I am unable to get the results listed by topics. )

Anyone know the proper way of doing this?

That's normal phpBB behaviour... search.php only retrieves the search_keywords parameter, not any of the other params Smile
