Does anybody out there know of any command line or dll's to control USB ports? I am in need of something that can turn on and off the 8 channels in a USB cable so that I can control hardware on the other end of the cable. Any suggestions or help for turning the pins on and off would be greatly appreciated. I wish VDS had native hardware support for items such as this.

I've played around with this a little. I think with a little tinkering it will work for what you want to do. I was able to use it for parallel port manipulation http://www.geekhideout.com/iodll.shtml

Also you might want to read this thread http://forum.vdsworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=3229
