There is another html control, vdselm.dll, you can download it here.
What do you mean with your second question???
Btw. vdselm is shareware, but I don't know if the owner is PGware or SADE Sarl.... |

If you are referring to the vdshtml.dll, that is by Tommy Sools. It is a self contained html browser component that does not need or use Internet Explorer.
If this is the dll you are referring to, then you can only put one instance of the element on a dialog at a time. Also, it is not capable of frames.

Skit, you had it done yourself by using a pirated copy of VDS.
We are now cooperating with S.A.D.E. to be able to verify the registration state of
users. Any person suspected by us or S.A.D.E. from using VDS beyond the 28 day
evaluation period without legitimately registering VDS (and not being able to proof
the contrary by providing us with their non-secret Reg.Net order id and e-mail
address), will indeed get that little title to their name, until they do register and
show us that proof.
I have to say this still is a gentle way, as in the past such people used to get
removed altogether.

Hey Tommy,
What about folks using the free VDS personal edition?
I've been trying to get some folks to try it and telling
them about this site (since its' code structure is like
VDS 2x). Are they gonna be branded "pirates" as well?
Cheers, Mac _________________ VDSug.dll does file IO, check/disable menu items,

Hi Mac,
Thanks for reminding me about that version. Of course such people who are seriously
solely using that people are still very welcome here. With some people it's just too
obvious they're pirating VDS though, or they even admitted it, so we are trying to
help S.A.D.E. with those people.
People posting full VDS 3 scripts complete with the new format dialog declarations
and list commands even during months and people capable of compiling (or even
decompiling!) scripts too obviously aren't using the Personal version though.
So Personal version users will have nothing to fear.
Also anyway I'm sure the majority of active forum users certainly are legitimately
registered VDS users. Those pirates are just a few exceptions...

No problem then Tommy.
I was afraid you might have automated the "pirating"
label, just using a list of registered VDS users...

You've proven great archival skills, Chris. Great to see some renewed life on the forums.
BTW Interesting phone text framework that you setup, even though perhaps it has some weird test messages. |
