Has Anyone worked with metadata in VDS before.. i.e. write attributes like (TITLE: my vacation photos). directly to a image file? Is this possible through VDS? or API?

Thanks.

Technically speaking you can do this with pure VDS however it would be a very daunting task to put it mildly. It would be easier to use an API that already has the ability then to re-invent the wheel in VDS. Also your message does not note what metadata specification you are wanting to retrive. Which fields do you want and what image format do you want to get the fields from. Back to the API... GDI+ would probably be the easiest and most accessible in VDS unless there is already a VDS DLL that does this.
