I am working on a system that will allow people to submit tips and tricks
and it might sometime be integrated into VDSWORLD.
We are going to need a team of people to put together a weekly
"Tips and Tricks" newsletter with code samples, tips, tricks, news, etc.
If anyone would like to be on that team please e-mail

| Quote: | Acutally Garrett,
I would have contributed information but I never knew I could Also what kinds of information would have been appropriate I did not know it was a community type of thing? I thought it was a news letter from SADE to let us know all the latest stuff happening with VDS? |
It was a little of everything. News from SADE of course and tips and
tricks, Tutorials, Articles. Basically just a grab bag of info for VDS
Reg'd users.
Since it was a reg'd user newsletter, I was asking for anything from
users in the reg'd user forum back then. Only had a few things
submitted, which wasn't enough to make a worthy newsletter to send
out, so that kind of killed for the time. I basically forgot about it since
most of the focus at the time was on the mailing list and forums over
here.
Now the only problem is, still a lack of articles and such, and time. I'm
a little short on time these days, so I can't put too much effort into any
newsletter.
Here's what I can offer though. If there are few people who are willing
to take on the responsibility of compiling whatever is sent into them,
edit it all, format it and proof it etc.... Once done, send me a draft,
and I'll go over it to make sure it's good to go, and then have it sent
out to the reg'd users in the db who signed up for the newsletter.
I'm not suggesting that this be a weekly, or a monthly thing either.
Maybe once or twice a year, or more if everyone is generous with
submitting stuff to the newsletter and those putting it together.
Of course, if SADE has any news, I'll add it to the newsletter.
