When we first put EverWars online, we never had any expectations that it would become so popular so quickly. Well, 5 days after launch, EverWars has 4,000 players and is reaching over 30,000 users every day and those numbers are growing exponentially.
Unfortunately, we were not prepared for the high traffic load we received which explains why the servers have been a little slower the last couple of days. In order to improve performance, we are moving EverWars to new servers starting today (Monday) and there will be some downtime. We apologize for this but due to DNS changes and the time it will take to move and setup EverWars on the new servers, it cannot be avoided
During the downtime, we are also going to rewrite several areas of the software behind EverWars. We are going to implement new non-recruitment methods of gaining gold and remove a lot of routines that are adding to the extreme server loads. We ask that you be patient with us while we do this and hope you will continue playing EverWars when it relaunches in 1-2 days.
