Hmm. The toolbar positions are all stored in REG_BINARY keys under HKCU\Software\Commercial Research\VDS\5.0\Main. Delete those keys, and it should restore the defaults. _________________ The Tech Pro

If you drag a bar off the toolbar, then you have a window. These can
be resized, it might have something to do with that. _________________ FreezingFire

Hi,
thanks for your answers.
These crashed toolbars can't be dragged outside anymore (maybe
because they have no icons).
I reinstalled vds5. Now all seems to be ok.
Next time I will try deleting the registry keys.

I'm having the same/similar issues with the toolbars. I tried deleting the registry keys for the Debug and Compiler toolbars and even re-installed VDS5, but the toolbars still don't want to "stick" in the postion I want them. I can fix the problem by dragging them down into the code window, resizing them, then put them back up in position, but it's incredibly annoying to have to do this every time.
Does anyone know how to make these stay in position....I'm willing to try staples and duct tape if necessary!!

The way I do is to hard double click or three clicks on it. Then you can see it as undocked window which you can move and resize.
I think windows atores these settings for every window. I don't know if it is accessible (like autocomplete which is not accessible).
I know it is very irritating to add to it you cannot size it like a normal window in all directions
If VDS update doesn't have a fix I will get a glue and tape in the form of API sendmsg for me. _________________ Regards
