Not to mention the thousands of hits it receives daily, and it attracts
hundreds of unique visitors daily!

But for sure, we do get hundreds of unique visitors daily. I saw that in the
statistics. It's called "sessions". _________________ FreezingFire

here's my idea...not an original one but expanding on one i saw at another site
what about having a section of vdsworld where people in need of programs to be written can specify what they need and vds programmers can bid for the project with the people deciding which bid they will choose
it would be a nice way to make some extra money as long as it is not always the same people who always outbid everyone else
perhaps a minimum of 1 week per listed project would be good too so that we can all have a look at the projects listed, think about it and decide what our bid will be...or if we are interested
what i mean by bid is "i will write the code for the program for US$50" while someone else can bid to write the program for US$40 and the person who wants the program can decide who will get the project and pay the bid money when the project is done
also, all the programs that are bidded (spelling?) on must be written in vds and not delphi or visualbasic or c+... to make it fair to the rest of us and to respect that this is a vds site
what think ye?

You might also want to allow a programmer rating also, so the client can
rate the programmer who did the work for them. This may also help a
future client select which bid by programmer rating also. If a programmer
keeps getting bad ratings, then future potential clients know that they
take a risk using that programmer, even if he/she is a lower bid.

I think it's a good idea to try out as long as it wouldn't be a complete pain to put into the site.
I think the past tense of bid is bid? Yesterday I bid on it twice? _________________ -Sheep
