Personally I think the tooltips in VDS need to be worked on. I don't
think it would require massive amounts of work. I think that the
padding around text should be increased by about 3 or 4 pixels.
They look kind of ugly right now especially because there is always
extra space after the text in the tooltip. Another thing that would
be nice is shadow on XP systems. You can use this for it:
http://www.jrsoftware.org/misc.php#hintshadow
Called "HintShadow"...
Maybe I'm just too picky but its something that's bugged me since
the beginning of ToolTips in VDS. _________________ FreezingFire

Dude your so spoiled Most of us have had to make our own tooltips until VDS 4 came out. Make your own if you don't like the way VDS does it.

You Tell'em Johnny!! Just like we used to have to get out and use a crank
arm to start our cars... These days, they just use a key. Go figure.

Now don't gang up on me. I've only been using VDS since version
4 came out. I just thought maybe it wouldn't be too hard to make it
easier for everyone. _________________ FreezingFire

Vic to each his own. I personally don't like the XP styles. The XP style does not seem as professional to me as the the older Windows interfaces. Who ever thought of using orange buttons hehehehehe _________________ Home of

They're not orange, just the ring around them when you mouse
over them. _________________ FreezingFire

| Orange or not, they're still very messy. Half of the XP buttons I see, specially on websites, or when they're too long or tall, are ugly and have 'junk' pixels in the corners. |

Yeah the very large xp icons show traces of jaggies all on the edges, not really sure why MS didn't think of fixing that |
