vtol777, I suggest you use the [code:1:e2754ccf34] BBtag when posting vds code at the forum; this way other users can download your code by just clicking the 'Download this script' link, and the code is highlited the same way as the VDS IDE would do
Just a bit of advertisement
Regards,

Can ya change that annoying neon green color
on "VDS" tag remarks? It's so light/bright I can
barely make it out on my monitor.
It's the only reason I still use the "code" tags.
I think a lot of people have indeed set the remark tag color in VDS itself to another, less-bright green. _________________ VDSug.dll does file IO, check/disable menu items,

Yes, you should always "seed" your random numbers to avoid getting the
same ones.
A good way to seed your random numbers is using the following code
made by Tommy:
| Code: | | random @format(@fmul(@fdiv(%%part,%%day),1.1),10.0) |
Also to learn more about how the random stuff works you might like to look

Mac,
I have to agree with you and there was a big discussion about this awhile back. Take a look at this link http://forum.vdsworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=1986 _________________ Home of

Hey mindpower,
Well, I woulda thought since several folks aren't able to see
the bright green remarks very well, it wouldn't be an issue to
change it.
If it's not going to change, then there prolly shouldn't be any
complaints about those who'd rather use the "code" tags.
I'd also appreciate it if whoever edited my post (removed
my quote from Vic) wouldn't do that. I'm a big boy and can
write my own posts.

OK - I've had enough. I did NOT write this sentence in my post.
Tommy has been emailed about this.

Mac, what are you talking about? I think Mindpower wrote that,
I don't see it in any of your posts. _________________ FreezingFire

Strange indeed - I'm sure none of the moderators here would edit posts
in a dishonest way. If there's a bug in the board, it could be possibly due
to all of the recent modifications made to the board's code. _________________ FreezingFire

SnarlingSheep thats exactly what i needed, it works perfectly, thanks a million...
And thanks to all the other guys help.
And thanks for that CodeBackup.exe Vic , I installed it but canceled cause I didnt know what to do with it, I guess I'm susposed to load a code example in it and somehow feed it into VDSworld forum post area instead of my awkward typing in method. (dont ya hate noobies like me).
Oh, was someone hinting for me to change my font colors, if so, which color should I choose.
Thank you all, appreciated all the help... cheers |

Glad to help.
>>Oh, was someone hinting for me to change my font colors, if so, which color should I choose.
When you post code, you should enclose it in code or vds tags:
REM VDS Code Here...
Or:
REM VDS Code Here...
_________________ -Sheep

You need to use the brackets. _________________ -Sheep
