First of all, welcome to the forums Hi

It's a bit difficult to answer your question with this amount information... perhaps you could post the script you're trying to execute or be a bit more specific about what you're trying to achieve?

  DIALOG ADD,BUTTON,Start,33,22,160,24,Start
  DIALOG ADD,TEXT,Top,8,21,,,Click to start MOUSE SURPRISES
  DIALOG SHOW
:Evloop
  wait event
  goto @event()
:StartBUTTON

  WINDOW CLICK,Mouse Galore - By ,-125,390,0,0

  goto evloop
:Close

Edited by Vic; now it uses the [code:1:32c6b328f3] tag to increase readability and to add the nice 'Download this script' feature Wink

If you're just trying to shut down the computer, why not use the
EXITWIN command? Smile

Also, are you sure the script is actually executing the command (ex. is
the button assigned to the correct label?) Smile

Of course all of us want to help you, but I we also just don't know what could go wrong. The EXITWIN command has never failed at my pc nor did it at any other pc I tried my programs at.
