Hi,

ViewPlus and Thumbs 2.1 (DLLs) copyright 2005 Rastaman
Viewer DSU and Thumbs DSU v1.0
-----------------------------------------

VDS: Help, demo, DSU (thumbs and viewer) by Martin Bellefeuille ) - Marty
Thumbs.dll and Viewerplus.dll by RastaMan (Sorry dont know his real name)
Thanks:
to Tommy for the class command
to DragonSpere who help figure out why the VDS app was crashing on exit
to all who tested it and reported the bugs!

Status : Freeware
Limited support - if any
I am not asking for anything.. but I really would like to see any VDS projects created with them (not the code Wink ). Thank you.

** Demos : democombo.dsp shows usage of both DLLS.

ViewPlus is a DLL (viewer.dsu) which displays an image of multiple formats. ViewPlus also allows users to ZOOM in or out on the image, and also features a wallpaper command to set the current image as the users desktop wallpaper. Additional features are 30 image transitions and save image option! See the ViewPlus Commands.txt file for a listing of VDS commands supported.

Supported Image Formats:
tif,jpg,pcx,bmp,ico,cur,png,wmf,emf,tga,pxm,gif,tif

::::::::::::::::

Thumbs is a DLL/DSU which displays thumbnails of a given directory. Using the VDS HotKey command in a script (example in the demo), will tell ViewPlus to load the image selected in ThumbsPlus. See Thumbs Commands.txt for listing of supported VDS commands.

Supported Image Formats:
tif,jpg,pcx,bmp,ico,cur,png,wmf,emf,tga,pxm,gif,tif

::::::::::::::::

Each DLL/DSU works fine on its own. One DLL/DSU does not require the other to work properly.

::::::::::::::::

Uses: Photo/Image CD's, Wallpaper Changer Program, and many other possible projects.

::::::::::::::::

Please report any issues good or bad..

Get it from:
http://www.vdsworld.com/download.php?id=479&sid=06f94c2d6e3045ee10646a564d5897e5

Hi Marty

Great addition, i will be updating GraFX (our batch image conversion program ) to use the new image dll, and it will allow us to allow users to convert to various image types.

Again , great addition.

Now thats interesting! I really like to see apps made with my DLLs or in this case my DSU.. Smile

Rubes, one thing.. even tho I wrote some files types when you save your images without the dialog, I think you could use all the ones listed in the Save as dialog (Saveimage command).. Since I had no time to test that , thought I would let you know..

Thanks again for the good words Very Happy

I am having problems using this. I know that while in the IDE i'll get that memory error and then VDS will crash. I also get that error when I run a compiled version... the odd thing is that your demo.exe and dsc files work fine with no errors. I can't figure out why I am getting the error. Any ideas?

Thanks

Marty,

Wow.. what a great addition to the VDS arsenal.. NICE JOB. Are there any distribution restrictions or royalties associated with the dll's?

Regards,

Bill

In order to get it to close i need to put a Killtask command on the close event. It's not a very good work around. I am still trying to find out why I am getting the errors.

Found the problem. It is a conflict with VDSObj.dll. Is there any way you could look into this Marty? I need both in my app..

Thanks
