Hi! I have been using VDS since late `90s and only today I have found out that there is a VDS community out there! I thought I have reached the limit of what this program could do until I discovered new functions as listed on your site: API and dll. I found a help file for API but nothing on dll management. Is there a help file for that as well?
I need your input on this: I would like to create a script designed for a nursing environment: basically I want to create work assignments. The script should be able to assign patient x to nurse y and so on. Some patients have to be assigned to RNs only, so I need some way of identifying these patients (either with an icon or highliting their names, etc) As well, next to the patient's name I need a little comment area to explain why they need an RN (4-5 words max).
This is how I thought it so far: create a table list which will contain on column #1 the patient's name, column #2 will contain the comments. My understanding is that tables can handle icons as well, so the matter of highliting the patients with special needs is dealt with.
Then I will create 5-6 other lists, and each one of them will be assigned to a nurse. When I want to assign a patient, I click on the patient in the table list and that patient will be moved to the nurse's list. How does it sound so far?
Thanks!
PS: I am attaching a screen shot of an older program - as you can see all the lists are regular. I discovered the table element on your site recently.

Sorry, looks like nobody replied to you on this one. Guessing nobody
had any good ideas for you.
It should not be too hard to do what you want as it seems simple enough
and would only require some basic table use. But since there were no
suggestions for you, best check out the many examples on the main site
located at http://www.vdsworld.com/
