Much better now available at http://www.vdsworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5159

Thanks.

Reuasable control: manipulations built into it. So you don't have to spend a long time recoding buttons for different projects.

vdsdom50.dsu 4.18.2011 included/relied on.

Several redistributable MS graphics included.

updated. Used substr to grab various initial parts of document.

updated. Got rid of unselectable problem on opened documents. Got rid of area clearing after open file.

How can I use an HTML button and Javascript to execute a program written in Java on a webpage? I've made a Java program. I want to know how I can use HTML and Javascript to make it so when a button on the webpage is pushed, the Java program is executed. All help appriceated.

Hi Cathleen...

I encourage you to try Visual DialogScript @ http://dialogscript.com for your next desktop application.

I am only posting this because it is relevant to Visual DialogScripts Browser element and perhaps I've misunderstood your intent. You seem to be an internet waif seeking help any way you can. Far be it from me to not help a starving orphan ;p

Code:
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<button onclick="javascript:document.getElementById('oTarget').innerHTML=('<applet code=clock.class width=190 height=200></applet>Hi');">Hi</button>
<div id=oTarget></div>
</body>
</html>

I hope you try VDS in the future. Good luck.
