Where could I download the info manager exe from?

It's not in the vds directory.

Hi,

i have the same problem since I installed vds 4.5 single (not updating).
Could somebody send me the exe or do I have to install 4.0 an update
to 4.5 ?

Please do not ask for registered users only files over the board even if you are a registered customer. The best place to ask for such is at : support@dialogscript.com.

It's true. In VDS 4.5, if going to "Compile", then choose "Add version information" then
try to edit it, it shows an error message indicating that "Info Manager.exe" could not be
found. I guess S.A.D.E. just forgot to include it in the distribution.

You probably had an earlier version (.... 4.0x) and when you installed 4.5 ontop of that, the files remained in the right place even though v. 4.5
does not have them

I just checked my archives here, and 4.02 had the Infos Manager.EXE, and 4.50 did not. But!!! 4.50 did have the .manifest files for it. The 4.x complimentary pack does not include this file either, nor any reference to it. I am lead to believe that the file was intended to be in the 4.50 distro, but some how was overlooked.

If you have a 4.0 setup archive still sitting around, you can unzip it and then copy the file to your 4.5 directory.

If you don't have that available, I will see if I can get permission from SADE to place the file somewhere for everyone who needs it.

When I registered VDS late last year, I downloaded it from the http://www.dialogscript.com site with no difficulties; mine has not had any problems with missing files, either. I am 99.9% sure I didn't have 4.0 installed before, but the other .1% is not sure... Wink

I am using version 4.50, isn't that the very latest version? Confused

I downloaded vds450en.exe from http://www.dialogscript.com site.

right clicking properties on setup exe called vds450en.exe

size 1,419,052 bytes
Size on Disk 1,421,312 bytes

The Info Manager is not included with my vds450en.exe

However, I have downloaded the missing file and it's working great!

Since it was distributed with the earlier shareware
version, what's the problem with sending it to him?
It's of no value unless ya register VDS4 anyway... Confused

Please leave the distribution of components/files of VDS to SADE. The package is complementary for registered customers only and should not be distributed, one reason is so it doesn't benefit those that are using cracks/keygens.

I've spoken to the CEO of SADE. They changed the url to the new complementary file. Here is how to get the new url>

Go to: http://regarea.dialogscript.com

fill out the 'REQUEST NEW KEY' feature and it will send you an email with your key, at the bottom of the email is the new url to the complmentary file with the infos manager.exe Smile

I'm NOT tryin' to rip off VDS Prakash, but that file
was in the shareware download that was open
to the public. VDS 4.0 is prolly still at Simtel or a
mirror site somewhere...
