Hi All,
Also for anyone interested in driving those hacks crazy you can combine Chris's code with my 30day limiting code that I developed some years back Basicly the 30day limiting code works like this if the Hack changes the clock on the PC running your shareware in anyway it will subtract a day from the time limit alloted and every time the hack alters the PC's clock it will keep subtracting days from the time limit exponitially It does not care that you changed the date forward in time or backwards in time it just knows that someone altered the clock and it will penalize you for doing so by subtracting a day from the time limit for each alteration you make. I did not release it because it needed the ability to encrypt an external file but now that we have a way to do that I will put it up for everyone if anyone would like to use it. _________________ Home of

I'm adding a time trial option to VDSReg. It will allow you to set a specific
date or a number of days.. It's still in progress. This will take some time
it find a way to keep hackers from finding where the info is stored. I'll
try to keep ya posted. _________________ Chris

just a small difference:

cracker = software |
I'm really curious to show how you're going to do that _________________

I see no real difference, a loser is always a loser no matter what you call him/her. |

You're all Wrong!
The true definition of Hacker is a person who works with programming code. The term came about in way such as this
"He hacked that code all week long, and now the program is complete and ready for distribution".
"He's been hacking out a new program today".
The work "Hack,Hacker" has since been molested and no longer represents it's true meaning and orgin.
And this concludes today's lesson on "History of the Computer".

Ok, I'll solve this debate once and for all!
Hacker = crazed psycko with a cutting utility excitedly intent on making more little pieces out of already many little pieces
Cracker = tastes good with cheese
