If you try to compile to the file name of a currently running program you
will get the normal compiling error. However, when you go back to
compile without restarting VDS you get the message “This function
is disabled in the demo version.” You must then exit and restart VDS.
BTW – I’m still using VDS 3.5.

You know, I remember that one too... I hated that!
Just tried that in VDS 4, and it doesn't do that. Just tried that in 5, and
it doesn't do that either.

| I wouldn't expect a bug to be fixed in a prior version, afterall that is the reason there are now 2 new major versions of the software out (soon to be out in regards to vds 5). |

Hi PK,
I really don't expect it to be fixed in a 3.x . I was not aware VDS4
didn't have the problem (assuming Garrett is correct) since I don't use
VDS4. I think you'll agree that it is a good idea for others still using older
versions to be aware of the problem .

You can try to compile twice to resolve the problem. The first time you try to open the
compile dialog, it would show the demo dialog, the next time it should work. |
