|
|
When I try to run Application Wizard, I get "Error 37 - 17"
When I press F2 to use the Dialog designer, nothing happens.
Nothing happens when I click the other tools in the Tools menu.
When I try to close VDS 5 I get this message:
"VDS has caused an exception of class "EAccessViolation".
It may be wise to save your work, close VDS and then restart it."
Problem is that I can't even shut it down. _________________

VDS is working now, but I still can't get the Dialog Designer to work.
When I press F2 to open it nothing seems to happen. But I can see it in the list of processes. And it is using 100% of the CPU. _________________

There also appears to be a bug in the Project Manager.
When I open a project and tries to compile it I get an error message saying it can't find a Resource file, which in this case is the icon file.
But when I manually browse for the icon it works even though the path to the icon is the same. _________________

I just tried VDS 5 on my laptop with Windows 98 2nd Edition and I have the same problem with the Dialog Designer there.
And none of the tools in the Tools menu work.
Maybe we should have waiting abit more? _________________

Ok now im getting this too:
The instruction at "0x5d3219f4" referenced memory at "0x5d3219f4". The memory could not be "read".
This happens when closing vds and some times at random points. |

I am using 5.0 unregistered while i wait for my key. The dialog designer seems to work fine, I also run XP Pro SP1a.
However when i run the Application Wizard and hit the dialog designer button i get this:
error 19 at line 126 support@dialogscript.com!
Hmmm

Ok i found an easy way to fix the problem...
Just enable compatabilty mode and select windows 2000 for vds.exe.
This fixes the problem, for me it seems to have a problem with XP PRO SP1a on three totally different systems. This works though on them all.
Hope that helps others. |

I've tried setting compatibility to 2000. I'm registered VDS 5 and Dialog Designer isn't working here at all. _________________

Gonna reinstall 4.5 until all becomes clear...
Its all the Drool you know, makes you go blind. If the just stuck to the Absinthe there wouldn't be this problem
