Can I set the view of a browser element? I made a dbl pane explorer window and I want to be able to set/change the view in the browser element. Details view, small icons, list, etc...

Programatically, no.

Users can change via right click.

You may be able to use the http://www.vdsworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=36391&highlight=#36391 to grab the ie window (#ieframe) and interact with it via window rclick (etc)
